-- Fashion History II Blog --
At first I wasn't too keen on this idea for a weekly blog. However, when I thought about it a little, I changed my mind. To record things that inspire, basically feeds creativity. We run into these things every single day, which can be as simple as an angle on a building or as complicated as a mural on a building. When you let these inspiring moments go, you tend to lose them, like waking up from a dream. If you don't make the conscious effort to remember it, the details lose form and pretty soon you're only left with the ghost of an impression. So if we write our impressions down, the reasons why we're inspired, and post pictures, we're basically building a personal reference library. Maybe it will help you design something better. Maybe it will open new avenues I've never thought of before. Maybe it will inspire someone else out there. And if it does happen to inspire you, don't hesitate to copy down the image because you never know when you might need to dig it up again.
With this weekly blog, I hope to expand my creativity and draw inspiration from all avenues of art to incorporate them in my future projects. I'm also hoping these blogs will enable me to generate ideas more freely and keep me open minded to different facets of art.
